My photographic journey began as a trainee at the Worthing Gazette in 1975 , where I honed my skills and captured the essence of local life. In 1979, I headed to the Keystone Press Agency in London where I worked alongside some great photographers and gained some invaluable experience. Three years later, I landed a staff photographer position at The Brighton Evening Argus.
But the call for creative exploration grew stronger. In 2007, I transitioned to part-time at The Argus, diving headfirst into the freelance world. Finally, in 2015, I embraced full-fledged self-employment.
My passion for photography extends beyond the ordinary. While football holds a special place in my heart (having documented Brighton & Hove Albion's highs and lows since the 70s!), I've been fortunate to collaborate with amazing journalists and charities around the globe. From Bosnia and Romania to India, these experiences have enriched my perspective and fueled my storytelling spirit.
